Friday November 27th
TROUBLE VISION
10 pm - 6 am
£8 advance / NUS / before 11 / £10 afterwards
On the 16th October, we at Trouble Vision celebrated not only our first birthday, but also our biggest party to date. Shy FX, Plastician and Boy-8 Bit headlined an all-star lineup spanning the genres while Work It! brought the heat in the Silent Disco.
One month on and we’re back to do it all over again with arguably an even bigger lineup. Drum & Bass legend and general bass connoisseur DJ Zinc tops the proceedings in room 1. In support, Dirtybird’s Solo will be bringing his bag of carnival house followed by a debut live performance from Bass Clef & The Magic Drum Orchestra, (8 live percussionists backing up Bass Clefs tight 2-step/dub productions promises to be nothing short of spectacular,) with remix-maestros Greenmoney providing the icing on the cake.
Room 2 takes on a more garage, dub and UK funky persona, with Geeneus, the first man of Rinse FM and FWD>> taking to the controls to headline. Support comes in the form of a back to back special. Mad Decent’s Mumdance will be taking on Dirty Canvas’s tastemaker Reecha, UK garage originator El-B will be going back to back with new kid Photomachine, and last but by no means least, man of the moment Joy Orbison will be taking on the mysterious SBTRKT.
Throw Superfilth’s electro peddlers Oli DAB & Robin into the silent disco along with The Wolf and co. and you have the makings of what is becoming an essential London party, and, if you quick, early bird tickets start at £5!
