Rupture returns on Saturday September 19th with a massive back 2 back 3rd birthday special.
Headlining this event we have paired up Exit Records founder, D-BRIDGE with Xtinction Agenda’s Jedi Night LOXY for a battle of the finest quality futuristic drum & bass. Digital Soundboy’s man of the moment BREAKAGE is reunited with long time collaborator THRESHOLD for the first time since their REINFORCED EP back in 2000.
The Alliance of Science duo EQUINOX and DUB ONE, butchers of the breaks, will be providing us with their drumfunk sound and from Holland we have the rising talents JUNE MILLER and MINDMAPPER. Rounding up the main room with pure vibes will be Rupture’s head honcho’s DOUBLE O & MANTRA alongside our hard stepper residents BEKAH & PANKA. We always finish off with an oldskool set playing tribute to those original artists that are a constant inspiration to the Rupture crew and doing the honors are MAXX VINYL & NICK RASCAL coming with a 92-93 underground hardcore set.
Mindstep take over Room 2 for the first time at Rupture, bringing us their intergalactic chilled-out dubstep sounds. BREAKAGE will also be playing an exclusive dubstep set in room 2, alongside two of Rinse FM’s veterans, SCIENTIST and DJ WONDER (house and dubstep mash up set). Joining them are Mindstep residents, CRISES, playing an across the board dubstep set and DASHA b2b with dubsteps favorite host, G DOUBLE (exclusive DJ set) …room 2 looks set to rattle the Corsica bassbins!
