God Don't Like It presents
Aidan Baker ( Nadja ) + Simon Scott ( Slowdive ) + The Resonance Association.

£6
A night of experimental music, soundtrack and shoegaze with one half of Nadja the amazing Aidan Baker!
Over the course of the last decade, Baker has released over 100 recorded works under his own name, with his duo Nadja, and various other musical projects on such labels as Alien8 Recordings, Important Records, Beta-Lactam Ring Records, and Die Stadt Musik. He is also the author of several books of prose/poetry.
In main support we have Simon Scott ex Slowdive drummer (“Just for a day” LP/ “Souvlaki” LP/”5ep” EP) who runs the KESH recording label from Cambridge and has also released music on Morr music with Seavault. Simon has been a sound designer for various short films, sound installations and television sound design including Channel 4.
The Wire Magazine say: “Scott is particularly adept at layering coolly shimmering guitars and dark churning currents of noise into something vast”. “A haunting aspect of ‘Navigare’ is how it seems to contain traces of tunes that stand out like half-forgotten relics of the past” (Dec’09).
And first up we have The Resonance Association!
Daniel Vincent and Dominic Hemy create music that combines, dense atmospherics, blistering industrial rhythms and emotive guitar solo’s.
They have been praised in the press from the electronic glitchy blogs through to Terroizer for their take on the heavier side of thing and they are REALLY good!
